Bye Nan xxx

Last night our dear little Nan passed away, just shy of her 96th Birthday. Although we will miss her dearly, we know how much she wanted to join her loved ones in heaven. She has experienced more sadness in her lifetime than anyone should have to but now she will be reunited with her boys again ~ enjoy Nan! We will take care of Dad down here!

I took these shots in 2007/08.... Sooooooo glad I did now. Nothing technically grand, but memories of a stunning Great-Nana that I will treasure always. At the time, Nan was apparently NOT wanting her picture taken ~ why on earth would I want a photo of her wrinkles!!?? But then she would strike a pose like this! Love you Nan. Thanks for giving me these images and thanks for all of the wonderful memories, the great Palm Beach holidays will be in my heart with you forever. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Take care of her now my gorgeous Uncles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jem, I'm sitting here reading your post and listening to the 'pictures of you' song and I am crying! This is a beautiful post and a lovely way to say goodbye. She can rest a while now with her lovely boys. I only met her a few times but such a sweet sweet lady. She will be looking over you and your new bubba with big smiles. Jodie xoxox

Jem....Beautiful treasured memories of a truly beautiful woman captured .... I think the women of this era had something so special about them, we can all learn a lot from them.
I'm sure she is looking down on all of you. Her loved ones here let her go and now the other loves of her life have her back.
Christa xx
